Freedom After School Club
Freedom After School Club, which is independently operated by Mr Jim Westwater, provides after school care for children from Reception class to Year 6. It is run from 3pm through until 5.30pm on school days. Carolyn Aitchison manages the club, and all members of staff are police checked, First Aid trained and hold appropriate safeguarding and child protection certificates.
To enrol your child/ren into the club you will need to collect an application form from Carolyn Aitchison.Â
Sessions can be booked on an ad-hoc basis via a text or call to the After School club phone. However now the club is so well attended unfortunately we cannot always accommodate every request. The first hour and a half costs £12 and a two and a half hour session costs £14.50. A healthy snack is also provided.
The club is based in the Multi-Function Area and children are to be collected using that entrance. All parents are required to sign their children out of the club on collection.
Children are free to choose the activities they participate in which include the computers, playing board games, card games, construction, making dens and craft resources. When the weather allows, we also play various games outside on the field, in the playground or on the trim trail.
