St Lawrence School PTA

St Lawrence School PTA is an organisation that raises funds for the benefit of the school and its pupils. During the last few years we have improved the Foundation Stage outdoor learning area and we have bought IT equipment including iPads and whiteboards for the use of all children in the school. We have also raised funds to help the school provide and maintain the large play equipment which is used every day by every class. We have achieved this through the running of Easter Fayres, Family Bingo afternoons, school discos and school barbecues, amongst many other things. With the funds raised we also provide refreshments and table decorations for the children’s Christmas parties.


Our main aim this year is to help improve the outside area at the back of the school, with the emphasis on growing, gardening and nurturing.

Who do we need?

To run a successful PTA we need willing volunteers. We are always looking for fresh ways to raise money and new ideas often come from new people. Our meetings, usually held on a Thursday evening at 6.30pm roughly once every 6 weeks, are always informal and friendly. Anyone is welcome to come along to see what it’s all about. We appreciate any help you can offer and it doesn’t need to be a big commitment.
